Recap of Monthly Meeting:
Sonny Ganguly, Chief Marketing Officer of Wedding Wire Inc. present “How to Reach Brides into today’s Market.” Today the average bride is about 26 years old with the average engagement lasting 1 year and a half. 94% of brides use the internet to plan their wedding spending more than four hours a week doing research. Lots of brides are participating in wedding discussion boards and are active on social networking sites.

Sonny discussed 14 different free ways to reach today’s brides (1) Create Social Networking Profile, (2) Enter Social Networking groups, (3) Build a Social Network, (4) Create a blog and build links, (5) Participate and comment on blogs, (6) leverage user generated content (7) Create video content (8) Create online photo albums (9) submit your website (10) Post on a deal site (11) enable email forwarding (12) create events and get noticed (13) leverage professional networks, and  (14) know who your customers are. Simple Invitation to Join AWP (copy and paste text below):

I wanted you to know about the organization I use to get wedding ideas and professional wedding contacts - Association of Wedding Professionals - it meets monthly for dinner on the 4th Tuesday of the month for networking and business tips.   The group has been a good value to me; your cost to join would be $25 for the application fee, and $125 for annual dues.  Use this link to find out about my business club and consider coming into the group:
www.weddingprofessionals.org/membership.php
It's a good group of people, and you'd be a great addition!
Be sure to mention that I recommended you so that your application will be processed quickly, as promised.
For more information about joining AWP, please contact Membership Chair, Myrna Grossman at memberchair@weddingprofessionals.org
