Some Keys things to remember
1. Attend the monthly AWP meetings – Be friendly, have lots of business cards, be prepared with your 30 second elevator speech
2. Submit articles to the AWP website and/or newsletter – helps promote your company on the web
3. Evening with the Newlyweds – Held every September and helps us (wedding professionals) see how we are doing in the marketplace
4. AWP Website – every member has a page and should keep the information up to date, newsletters are archived here
5. Membership Binder – every member has a profile in the binder, it is a useful resource
6. AWP brochure – Every member is listed in the brochure, FREE to members, given out at local bridal shows
7. AWP logo – add to your website, business cards and marketing materials
8. Invite other wedding professionals to attend meetings and to join
9. Always call AWP members for business FIRST
10. Volunteer for AWP board
