The Association of Wedding Professionals (AWP) has been serving the Washington, DC metropolitan area since 1989. Its members represent the businesses, vendors, and services of the wedding industry whose mission is to provide support, assistance, and educational opportunities which promote and encourage the highest level of ethics and professionalism in the wedding industry.

This site is provided as a service to brides, grooms, and those helping in any aspect of wedding planning, as well as to serve the needs of the Association's members.

For Brides and Grooms: The Directory link (at left) allows you to access the profiles of wedding professionals committed to providing the highest standards of service, and to link directly to each professional's website. You will also find planning advice from local experts by linking to the Articles section at left.

For Professionals: This site is your gateway to keep current with the activities of your Association. A link is provided on the right for you to easily register for upcoming meetings, view important calendar dates, acquire insights into the industry, and keep in touch with fellow members and the association's board members.
