The Association of Wedding Professionals (AWP) holds an annual meeting called Bridal Focus. The purpose of the Focus is to learn how we (wedding vendors) are doing in the market place.
A panel of recently married couples discuss industry-related issues, i.e., how a vendor or service was selected; what influenced a purchase from “Vendor A” as opposed to “Vendor B;” how was the reception site selected; was an “all-inclusive” venue influential?
Criteria to Participate:
1. The wedding must have occurred between September 2007 and August 2008
2. Must have had 75 or more guests
3. Location within the Maryland-Northern Virginia-DC Metropolitan area
The Bridal Focus will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at the Crystal City Marriott at Reagan National Airport. A dinner with the program moderator will be from 6pm – 7:15pm, followed by the Bridal Focus panel with the membership from 7:30pm-9pm.
The Panel is limited to six couples. All couples will be notified as to whether accepted.
Each couple participating will receive $75 plus dinner.
